Boy oh boy! Was this one heck of a way to jump into 2017! I mean, this Parkview Manor Toronto Nigerian Wedding was non-stop fun and excitement from the moment I walked in to meet up with Adetoro.
I met Amena & Adetoro last year, right around the same time and if you’ve seen their engagement session, you know two things to be true: they are passionately in love, and they are high-energy, fun 100% of the time. Amena & Adetoro promised soca music later in the night, and a big mix of cultural traditions from two tribes, and vastly diverse family all around the world.
In my heart I knew I had to find a way to photograph their day that showed them not only the traditionally western version of their wedding day, but the culturally important aspects that ties their family and friends together. From Timothy Eaton Memorical Church, Alex Muir Gardens, to Parkview Manor, their wedding was a fusion of the most beautiful parts of their world.
I hope you enjoy breathing these in as much as I do.
