How To Elope In Niagara Falls:
Elopement Checklist:
- You and the person you love.
- An officiant. If you know someone who is ordained – that’s perfect, or we can help you find one.
- You’ll need two witnesses to sign your paperwork. Conveniently I’m here if you want my signature.
- Flowers are typically nice, consider a bouquet.
- If you’re interested in video, we also offer a little video package as well.
- Pick a beautiful location! Once you have a spot, it’s typically best to either shoot near sunrise or sunset. We can help you navigate the people and crowded spaces around Niagara falls and the core.
- Don’t forget to bring a few beers, wine, or a glass of champagne. It’s a celebration!
Elopement Ceremony Locations In Niagara On The Lake & Niagara Falls:
Where should you elope in Niagara Falls? Here are a few breathtaking locations that are usually quiet, perfect for intimate elopements and are only a short trip to great hotels and restaurants.
Right At The Falls – Stand beside the falls and have our officiant marry you. Note that on public streets your guests will be anyone else around the day, and that makes it uniquely fun and interesting.
Balls Falls – Extremely popular with good reason. This location has an open area to stand at the top of the falls right at the edge, or head into big vast fields to enjoy the sunset coming down or enjoy a big snowfall. Easy to access and perfect in the spring, summer, fall and winter seasons.
Niagara Glen – Epic views, easy locations to park, and a great section of trails to explore and get lost in. You would be amiss if you’re big into climbing, hiking, or enjoying spectacular river views. Perhaps for the most intimate of elopements.
Decew Falls – Located at the Morning Star Mill, the attraction for adventurous couples is the hike to the bottom of the falls. Plan your timing right and we can catch the sunset with beautiful backdrops up top.
Niagara-On-The-Lake Beach & Gazebo – Niagara On The Lake is a beautiful town nestled against the lakeside. Enjoy a quiet ceremony downtown, and either go skating, swimming, or grabbing ice-cream downtown. Niagara-On-The-Lake is a beautiful one-stop location for the classically quaint and refined.
Looking for a chapel to elope in? Here’s some of Niagara’s best.
Little Log Elopement Chapel – A tiny log cabin with enough room to fill four people.
The Living Water Wayside Chapel – Take a church and minimize it. Built-in the 1960s. Cute and quaint with nice grounds nearby.
