I loved capturing this family session! So natural, candid & real. This is actually the second time I have documented this young family, the first time was when their older daughter was a toddler. I was so excited when they invited me back to capture their newest addition, an adorable baby girl who was born on Valentine’s Day.
As a documentary Hamilton family photographer, I want families to have photographs that capture who they are on a daily basis. I want families to look back and laugh at these moments in twenty years.
These photographs capture a moment in time of this family as they continue to grow – the smiles, the quiet moments, the tickling, and even playing in their backyard. I loved every second. Families need these types of photographs; an authentic visualization of their love for each other.
Family photography can be tricky, especially ‘day in the life’ sessions – timing, anticipation, and vision for how a family will play with each other. But that’s also what I love about it because the result is these amazing photographs and these four made it so effortless and easy. Enjoy the photographs and experience the laughter and fun.
